Psychic Ability Is Not A Mystical Phenomenon

We realize this statement contradicts what many people want to believe. But a great deal of evidence suggests that it's quite true.

Most dictionaries have this to say...

Psychic - 1) outside of natural knowledge; spiritual. 2) of or pertaining to some apparently nonphysical force or agency 3) An individual sensitive to influences or forces of a nonphysical or supernatural nature.

These are solid definitions, but our point remains: "Psychic" abilities, experiences, and individuals are not "magical" (meaning outside of the scientific spectrum) in nature.

Despite what ancient cultures might have taught, and contrary to the fantasies of many modern enthusiasts, it appears that what many people call psychic abilities are actually very naturally occurring brain functions that are a part of the human biology.

In other words we are all "psychic" from birth. Of course the degree to which we experience the numerous abilities and sensitivities associated with psychic powers can vary a great deal from person to person.

It only makes sense when you think about it. Things like eyesight, hearing, natural coordination, etc. are experienced in different ways by different people.

Some people have excellent optical vision. Others are born blind.

There are people with exceptional hearing. And there are people who are born deaf or nearly deaf.

So in the same way, doesn't it just make good sense that some of us are born with basic intuition (for example), while others seem to be completely obtuse in this regard. Or on the other extreme some folks are born with what seems to be an amazing insight into things that might not be discernible with standard logic.
